We invented aluminum body armor for Jeeps.
In 2009, the Nemesis team built the first aluminum Billy Rocker in the industry. Before that, nobody in the off-road world was building with aluminum — it wasn't done. We did it anyway.
Within a few years, every major competitor had an aluminum lineup. They still do.

Before 2009, off-road armor meant steel, plastic, or fiberglass.
Heavy. Brittle. Prone to cracking, fading, and failing the moment you actually put them to use on the trail.
The team at Nemesis — machinists, trail runners, fabricators — knew there was a better way. Aluminum was lighter, stronger against impact, and wouldn't crack or corrode. The problem was nobody in the industry was using it for body armor.
So we built it ourselves.
We didn't just switch materials. We re-engineered the category.
We incorporated in December 2008. We were building product and shipping orders in 2009. We moved to our current facility in Kiowa, Colorado in 2013 — and we've never stopped building.
Working out of Englewood, Colorado in 2009, the Nemesis team designed and built the first aluminum Billy Rocker for the Jeep JK. Precision CNC-cut aluminum, engineered for fitment that actually fit — not the bolt-it-and-hope approach the industry was used to.
The response from the off-road community was immediate. The product worked. The fit was better. The weight savings were real.

Every Nemesis product is designed in-house, CNC-machined or formed from premium materials, and built to perform in actual off-road conditions — not just look good on a shelf.
Our three-word test for every product:
- Does it fit? Not "fits most" — fits exactly. Model year, trim, tire clearance, hardware included.
- Does it hold? Materials, welds, hardware, and finish selected for trail abuse — not showroom appearances.
- Does it last? We're building products people will hand down with the vehicle. That demands a standard most companies don't hold themselves to.
We're not the cheapest option. We're the right one.

From concept to CNC to shipping dock — it happens here. We design in-house. We manufacture in-house. We don't outsource quality control because we don't outsource manufacturing.

The word comes from ancient Greek — Nemesis was the goddess who ensured that what you deserved, you received. Good work rewarded. Shortcuts punished.
We named the company that because we believe in it. Build the best product. Hold yourself to the highest standard. Let the work speak.
If the competition wants to copy us, they're going to have to build better product first.
