Product Overview
Constructed from 3/16” ATSM A36 Steel Plate the base of our Rocker Armor provides the reinforcement this area of the vehicle requires. The rocker is mounted to the side of the Jeep using 5- 3/8” stainless steel bolts. In addition the Rocker extends under the tub to grab two body mounts, thus providing a solid mount. Fitting between the factory flares and rising 6” to cover the vulnerable tub our rocker provides the protection you need where you need it. Extending 5” from the side of the Rocker Armor and located 2.5” from the bottom of the Rocker base is the uniquely styled oval dimpled step. The Recon step is designed to provide a positive foothold while withstanding side and sliding impacts, thus acting as a first line of defense against trail damage. Constructed of 1.5” .120 DOM tubing and 3/16” A36 steel this rocker is built to withstand years of abuse. Installing a set of our Kratos’ Armory Rocker Guards will not only provide the protection you Jeep requires it will also provide you with peace of mind.
Build Specs
You can confidently install these rockers knowing they have been constructed from quality materials by the craftsmen at Nemesis Industries. Using a High Definition CNC plasma table the Rocker is cut from 3/16” temper passed plate. After removing the dross (slag) from the cut part they are inspected to ensure it meets our quality standards. Forming of the Rocker is handled by our CNC press brake. After forming the Rocker is again inspected to ensure it meets our quality requirements. The Recon step follows a similar process plan to the Rocker base with one notable exception. To generate the unique look of the Recon step we worked with a close friend to develop an oval dimple die that could form 3/16” plate, a first of many innovations to come. Meanwhile in another department the tubing is being cut on our CNC band saw and formed using a CNC mandrel tubing bender. The formed tubing is then placed into custom tooling on the Cold Saw for the cuts that give the Recon bar its signature shape. During each process the evolving Recon bar is inspected and placed into go – no go gauges to ensure it meets our quality requirements. Completed sub-assemblies arrive at the welding department where they are fused together using a pulse spray arc welding process. After final inspection and cleaning processes are complete, the finished product is then delivered to our shipping department.
